An Incentive for Sidewalk Improvements

Beautiful neighborhoods are often ruined in Houston by crumbling sidewalks. If the City were to repair the broken sidewalks and driveways in the public right of way, it would not only improve the appearance and accessibility of these neighborhoods for residents and visitors, but lead to an increase in the property value, and therefore an increase in the property tax, that would likely pay for the cost of the sidewalks themselves!
